Game Zone is the long-time branding used by Welcome Break to describe their own game arcades. Located at most of Welcome Break services, they provide an electronic gaming/gambling facility, sometimes called 'amusement with prize'.

Welcome Break have admitted this facility is aimed at lorry drivers taking a legal rest break, and that it is a highly profitable operation. This would be true for other operators' equivalents too. To ensure gambling legislation is followed, units are watched by a member of staff, either directly or remotely.

The branding dates back to 1987. Since then it has held several logos, including one showing a speedometer and another with a compass.

The entertainment centres are provided by Inspired Entertainment on behalf of Welcome Break.

Rebranding

In 2003, Welcome Break registered the names Spin Spin Spin, Win B4U Go, Spin B4U Win. It's not clear whether these were contenders to replace Game Zone, or just a particular arcade machine. The Game Zone branding continued to be used regardless.

As part of Welcome Break's new and simplified corporate identity which was launched in 2008, Game Zone was rebranded Welcome Break Gaming, using a similar styling to their new corporate logo. This simpler brand was used everywhere until 2015, when the old Game Zone name was reintroduced to Fleet south-westbound, followed by several other new and refurbished sites.

Welcome Break launched a new Game Zone styling in 2021, which was based on their new corporate logo. This continued to replace Welcome Break Gaming, with the final legacy sites being replaced over the summer of 2024.
