Parking Prices
First 2 hours free for all vehicles, after which cars must pay £15 and HGVs, caravans and motorhomes £31. HGVs can pay £34 to include a £10 food voucher.

Like most of the M4's services, Chieveley was discussed on Gavin and Stacey, where Smithy says of it "Chieveley's the best, it's insane", going as far to say that he took his girlfriend there for dinner. Its previous moment in th spotlight was when it hosted BBC Radio 2's Derek Jameson breakfast show on 25 July 1988.
The former betting office to the side of the main building is currently unused and was available to lease as a retail outlet for a short time, but this is no longer the case. Moto are now using this space as additional storage.
Works commenced in early 2023 to redevelop the former Arlo's restaurant area into the new Pret A Manger store. As part of the works, the existing Costa store received a refurbishment in March 2023, with the new Pret A Manger store opening on 30 March 2023. A KFC store was then built next to the Pret A Manger, with the new restaurant opening on 20 August 2024.
Moto are seeking to build a Changing Places facility at Chieveley. In the longer term, they are working on a proposal to fully redevelop the site, to provide a larger capacity and more modern facilities.
