The main sign at the front of the building promoted it as a Little Chef, alongside the other brand logos and large 'Bangor' lettering. Unusually, the Travelodge logo was written on a red sign. This was changed to blue with the 2005 rebrand.

In March 2015, Euro Garages bought the petrol station and submitted planning permission to demolish it and replace the facilities with a BP forecourt, Spar store and Starbucks on the Go, Subway and Greggs food facilities as well as a Starbucks drive thru across the forecourt. This was due to be completed by the end of 2016, but did not happen due to planning permission refusals.
Euro Garages bought the petrol station in March 2015 and planned to redevelop the forecourt, branding it BP with a SPAR store, a Starbucks on the Go machine, Subway and Greggs stores and a separate Starbucks drive-thru that was positioned across the forecourt on the large vehicle parking area. This was planned to be completed by the end of 2016 but was put on hold due to planning issues. A Subway store was instead added to the existing sales building, opening in April 2017.

In February 2017, Euro Garages acquired Little Chef and announced plans to close the restaurant. In April 2017, a Subway opened in the existing forecourt.
Euro Garages acquired the Little Chef in February 2017 and intended to close the restaurant. No progress was made despite Euro Garages only having limited time to act, so in early 2018 the Little Chef was re-branded to EG Diner. This lasted until October 2018 when EG Group stopped operating full-service restaurants, closing the EG Diner and leaving the restaurant area empty.

Then, during early 2018, the Little Chef was re-branded as EG Diner and Euro Garages finally gained approved planning permission for the Starbucks Drive Thru and forecourt refurbishment. The filling station reopened branded Esso in June 2018 with a Spar store, Greggs and Subway stores and Starbucks on the Go machines. The Starbucks Drive Thru opened on Friday 3 August 2018.
The filling station refurbishment was eventually completed in June 2018. It opened with Esso branding and the expected units. The Starbucks drive-thru opened on 3 August 2018.

EG Diner closed in October 2018 as Euro Garages stopped supporting the brand.
EG Group eventually refurbished the main building in the summer of 2019, relocating the main entrance to their facilities away from the Travelodge reception area. The Burger King restaurant was moved to the old Little Chef area, where a new drive-thru lane was built. A [[Sainsbury's On the Go]] store was placed in the old Burger King unit, and the old Little Chef Express area was partitioned off. EG Group closed their Sainsbury's On the Go stores in 2021, leaving the unit empty.

In summer 2019, Euro Garages refurbished the main building here which involved relocated the main entrance to the right of building taking the entrance away from the Travelodge reception area. The Burger King restaurant here was also relocated to the former area Little Chef occupied so that a drive thru lane could be placed alongside the main building. A Sainsbury's On the go store was also introduced replacing the former space occupied by Burger King and the former Little Chef Express area is now unoccupied and hidden behind a fake wall.
In the forecourt, the SPAR store was briefly rebranded to [[Sainsbury's On the Go]], before changing back. It changed again to [[ASDA On the Move]] in September 2022, before becoming part of the Asda Express estate on 1 December 2023.

The A5 and A55 don't have many full-service areas. There are local facilities (some even signposted as such) along both of these roads, but few official service areas.

Top Rank had been looking at options on trunk roads, and saw this as an opportunity to build one of their smaller buildings, which would still provide one of the biggest facilities in the region. They opened it under their smaller name, One Stop, a name which is still used by some locals.

The new building had one corridor running through the middle with a shop on the left and a restaurant on the right. The hotel joins the main building on the left. Until 2017, the amenity building was still partly painted in its original green, and green signs can be found all around it. The building is now painted in Travelodge's corporate blue.

Until 2023, the entry road featured a bus stop served by regular local buses to Bangor and Bethesda.

Building Sales

Top Rank became Pavilion and in 1994. Pavilion sold this site to Forte, as they needed money and would rather focus on motorways. Pavilion wanted £750,000 for the site, although it's not thought that they got this.

Forte changed the restaurant to become a large Little ChefHistory, changed the shop to a Little Chef Shop and changed the hotel to a Forte Travelodge. As Little Chef was then passed through different owners, it variously gained a Coffee Stop, Café Nescafe, Burger King, Coffee Tempo! and a Little Chef Express. For a time, it was a Little Chef Choices site with Caffè Ritazza and Harry Ramsden's menus.

The main sign at the front of the building promoted it as a Little Chef, alongside the other brand logos and large 'Bangor' lettering. Unusually, the Travelodge logo was written on a red sign. This was changed to blue with their 2005 rebrand.

Euro Garages Works

Euro Garages bought the petrol station in March 2015 and planned to redevelop the forecourt, branding it BP with a SPAR store, a Starbucks on the Go machine, Subway and Greggs stores and a separate Starbucks drive-thru that was positioned across the forecourt on the large vehicle parking area. This was planned to be completed by the end of 2016 but was put on hold due to planning issues. A Subway store was instead added to the existing sales building, opening in April 2017.

The filling station refurbishment was eventually completed in June 2018. It opened with Esso branding and the expected units. The Starbucks drive-thru opened on 3 August 2018.

EG Group eventually refurbished the main building in the summer of 2019, relocating the main entrance to their facilities away from the Travelodge reception area. The Burger King restaurant was moved to the old Little Chef area, where a new drive-thru lane was built. A Sainsbury's On the Go store was placed in the old Burger King unit, and the old Little Chef Express area was partitioned off. EG Group closed their Sainsbury's On the Go stores in 2021, leaving the unit empty.

In the forecourt, the SPAR store was briefly rebranded to Sainsbury's On the Go, before changing back. It changed again to ASDA On the Move in September 2022, before becoming part of the Asda Express estate on 1 December 2023.
