Trivia and History
The Willowtree garage is named after the Willowtree Cottages, which it was built next to on a piece of land primed for development when the Alnwick Bypass was built. The petrol station used to be branded BP, then Total, then went unbranded for a while. It still retains the Total colour scheme.
A second site was developed on a larger plot of land to the south of the junction. The southern forecourt is operated by Rontec and used to be branded Shop 'n Drive.
