The crossroads on the A1 at Colsterworth (which later became a roundabout) became a hub of service station activity, most of which fell under the control of Granada via Little Chef.

When the roundabout was removed, the signage only got more confusing. Once southbound traffic had exited the A1, there was one "Services" sign pointing into the Jubilee Garage, one pointing down the A151 and one more pointing into the main service area exit, with no differentiation between the three or explanation that there are more options after the first. Within a few years, the sign for the Jubilee Garage was knocked down and never replaced - perhaps it wasn't supposed to be there - but this remains the most visible facility for southbound traffic.

Northbound traffic which follows the "Services" signs will find it directed to the main service area, but with the Jubilee Garage visible. Both routes have separate signs for a HGV parking area, which refers to the Colsterworth Truckstop.
