Trivia and History

The forecourt was opened in 1984 and operated by Garner Group. At the time, it was positioned on the main A325 and branded JET.
When the Bordon Relief Road (Templars Way) opened in January 2019, traffic was diverted away from the forecourt. At the same time, the site was rebuilt and given a larger shop. It reopened in March 2019, at which point road signs were placed on the new Winterhill Roundabout. One of the council's signs is pointing the wrong direction, sending confused motorists towards Liphook.
Woolmer was sold to MFG in December 2023. They have since replaced the Nisa Local store with a Budgens store and introduced additional food to go offerings. The site went 24 hours for the first time in February 2024.
Four MFG EV Power EV chargers were added to the forecourt in July 2025, introducing EV charging facilities here for the first time. The fuel brand was switched from Shell to BP in August 2025.
