The services at Great Ponton was really an MOT centre which sells fuel. As a result, it would close completely in the evening.
One of Britain's smallest official service area is positioned on the A1 at Great Ponton. It is currently leased to Certas Energy, who operate 24 hours a day with pay at pump facility.
