Trivia and History
In 1987, while the Beckington Bypass was under construction, plans started to build a service station here.
A Fina petrol station opened, and a Little ChefHistory opened in 1994. The restaurant closed on 12 June 2017, reopening as a Starbucks on 18 August 2017.
The filling station was formerly independently owned and branded Texaco with a Smile Local store. In April 2018, it was brought by BP Express and underwent major refurbishment including new pumps, canopy, car and jet washes, a M&S Simply Food store and Wild Bean Cafe unit. The filling station reopened on 3 October 2018.
