Trivia and History
The garage was built in the corner of the realigned West Road and the A23 Dale Hill in the 1930s. It was originally known as the 'Blue Star Garage'.
When the A23 was realigned, the old road became part of the forecourt.
The site has been operated by Tates, who run the used car dealer here, since at least the 1970s and continues to be to this day.
