Cafe Forte was an in-house coffee shop owned by Trusthouse Forte and used at certain Welcome Break services during the '90s.
In early 1995, a package of changes to Welcome Break's catering arrangements were proposed. As part of this, the bland Cafe Forte was replaced by the continental-themed Caffè Primo.
It's thought that the changes were made in 1995 and 1996.
