This small-scale version of the Tandy brand (Intertan UK) was introduced by Granada at certain services, to increase the time customers spent shopping. These stores sold computer goods, though Tandy themselves first started with leather.
In 1999, Tandy were sold to Carphone Warehouse, who began to close or re-brand all their stores. In 2001, a group of former employees purchased what was left, which included 11 stores at Moto services, and they created T2.
