Crossgates service station dates back to a garage which opened in the 1950s.
The filling station had been operated by Llink Group since at least the 1990s and was previously branded Esso. The filling station later become a Texaco site with a Nisa Local store.
Llink Group sold the site to Ascona Group in late 2020 who refurbished the shop in early December 2021, adding a range of Co-op Food products alongside a new Tango Ice Blast machine and the latest Nisa Local branding to the shopfront.
