Superdrug was a Granada shopping brand which was introduced to selected services during the 1990s, as part of their first retail expansion. Sites included Hilton Park and Trowell.
Government restrictions on the amount of retail space at a service area meant that Granada had to limit the amount of shops it had, and Superdrug was chosen to be removed in favour of bigger names. Sales were later described as "disappointing".
