Partney Filling Station
Trivia and History
This site was built as a garage on the old Sausthorpe Road in the 1960s, along with two semi-detached houses.
In the early 2000s, the site was redeveloped into the filling station we see today with canopy, pumps and sales building all being added.
The site has been selling Rix fuels since the pumps were added. In the early 2010s, the MID sign was altered to promote SPAR as the prominent brand on site rather than the Rix fuels.
In late 2018, the SPAR store gained a Stacked sandwich bar. A Revolution Self Service Launderette was also added to the forecourt in 2022.
Planning permission was also held for 2 InstaVolt electric vehicle charging points in 2018 however they are yet to be installed.
