==Trivia and History==

Caenby Corner is an important crossing on the old Ermine Street. 

On the opposite corner of the junction was the Moncks Arms Inn, later the Moncks Arms Hotel, which dates back to 1936. The Caenby Corner Transport Café had set up in its car park, but this closed in 2020. The hotel itself closed in the 1980s and was only recently refurbished.

===Site History===
Caenby Corner Garage and filling station has been positioned next to a property on the north-west corner of the Caenby Corner crossroads since at least the 1930s. By the mid-1950s, the filling station was offering [[Esso]] fuels.

The site was acquired by new owners in 1982 who converted the filling station to self-serve pumps. This enabled a large expansion of their Ford car sales showroom. Plans were then proposed by Trusthouse Forte in 1984 to convert the property situated next to the filling station into a [[Little Chef]] restaurant.

The Little Chef restaurant opened in summer 1986, trading here until 2008. By the time the Little Chef closed, the filling station was branded [[Total]].

The restaurant building was purchased by local coffee shop chain Café Amore in late 2009, and they reopened it as a coffee shop, trading here until late 2015.

Following Total's nationwide shutdown in 2012, the site was rebranded to [[BP]] and a [[Londis]] store was introduced.

Local restaurant operator Meat Inc purchased the building from Café Amore in late 2015 following their closure and opened a restaurant here in September 2016. This closed on 28 July 2019, with the Meat Inc business relocated to nearby Nettleham.

Starbucks franchisee 23.5 Degrees then bought the former restaurant building in 2020 and converted it into a [[Starbucks Drive Thru]]. The store opened on 18 December 2020, with two InstaVolt electric vehicle charging points being added to the car park in March 2021. 23.5 Degrees were acquired by Starbucks UK in October 2024, adding this store their company operated estate.

A Forward EV electric vehicle charger was installed on the forecourt in November 2024, adding a second charging option for EV drivers.
