I'm a 23-year-old public transport and motorway services enthusiast from Oldham, Greater Manchester.

My interest in motorway services began at an early age, fascinated by the variety of brands available at different ones and how each MSA operator was different to each other. Most of my photos are taken on trips travelling elsewhere- mainly for football away days and Wembley trips to watch Manchester City, hence why my percentage visited is considerably lower than most contributors to this site.

Best and worst
The BBC News has the best and worst services in the country
- 2 of the newest ones- Rugby and Rotherham- large, stylish, and open. Lots of variety to cater for different tastes. Hard to beat!
- My experiences travelling back home late at night shows the cracks in the service station offerings- Northampton is clearly the worst, never forget stopping coming back from Tottenham for WHSmith to be nearly sold out of food, and for McDonalds to only serve drinks til 5am! Very poor.
Money saving tips at motorway services
* Make use of loyalty cards and apps! Costa, Greggs, McDonalds, etc Most service station outlets/franchises do accept these so save your freebies if you know you are travelling!
* Check social media Service station operators such as Moto, Welcome Break, and Roadchef all advertise different promotions on their social media channels.
* Daily deals The daily deals apps from Moto and Roadchef may be a thing of the past, but they do still exist usually found on their website.
