Shefford Service Station
Trivia and History
A service area was planned for the new Shefford Bypass by Turnkey Developments and Polehanger Farms in 1988, as a filling station and restaurant proposed. It eventually opened around 1992 as an Esso filling station, with land to the west left for the restaurant to follow.
The site was redeveloped in 2007, gaining a new sales building to replace the existing one. It reopened as a Tesco Express store.
