From the A23 southbound, the access to the main service area is direct from the road, immediately after the Hassocks exit.

Access from the A23 northbound is possible, but not signed. To do this, you need to leave at the Hassocks exit. Take the first left, and then turn left again. Take the next right to enter the service area.
