The Early Learning Centre was another popular town centre shop introduced to service areas by Granada in 1999, as part of their plans to create mini-shopping centres.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s the brand encountered a number of problems across its estate. On the motorway, it wasn't perceived as a good use of the space available.
The stores, which included sites at Donington Park and Leigh Delamere, were removed after a few years.
