Template:Photo
This is the template used for organising uploads such as photos. For help using it, see Help:Photos
This template formats the description of each photo. You don't normally need to edit someone else's photo, unless the detail is clearly wrong.

| Not A Photo | normal | If this is not a photo (it could be a sketch, a compilation, a Photoshop or a Street View screenshot), the template will skip many details that only make sense for photos. 'Photos of photos' shouldn't be included if the other details are provided.

| Type | type | If provided, this will replace all uses of the word 'photo' with whatever you provide. Rarely used.

| Direction | direction | If this is a photo of a service area with two sides, you can state which side we are talking about.

| Date Taken | date | The precise date, or rough date, that the photo was taken. | String | optional |
| Year Taken | year | The year, or rough year, when the photo was taken. Used to order the galleries. For this reason, a photo of a photo should use the year the subject was created.

| Licence Type | licence | If the photo is used under a licence, enter that licence name here.

| Country | country | Photo was either taken in Ireland or the UK. Affects which version of the website it appears on.
