Waitrose supermarket at Michaelwood Northbound, situated left of the main entrance. An extension to the front of the building here enabled this store to open in around 2010. It’s a small, slightly claustrophobic Waitrose but does the job at selling premium travel essentials/snacks. Waitrose grabs lots of WHSmith’s trade. Prices are inflated in this store, but Waitrose having higher-than-average prices away from motorways means customers are unlikely to notice. It wasn’t too busy in this store during my visit. Waitrose is signposted from the M5 Northbound as well as frequently around the building.
