WHSmith store at Michaelwood South, situated left of the entrance near the WB gaming arcade. It likely opened in 2009 and for a while was the only shop at Michaelwood until Waitrose arrived at both sides. It’s a fairly small WHSmith & the shop appears to “spill out” onto the concourse. It operates for 24 hours & provides customers essentials during uncivilised hours. It is yet to be refurbished and WHSmith is home to StarbucksOnTheGo & a Krispy Kreme cabinet. Prices are steeper than an average high street branch, but it’s still less cost effective than Waitrose. WHSmith is signposted from the M5 Southbound at Michaelwood, which is rare for Welcome Break.
