Part of the customer seating area, tucked behind Starbucks, at Michaelwood Southbound. Its hidden location means customers can miss it more easily, therefore it’s quiet despite the site being moderately busy during my visit. It’s quite dated & lacks much sunlight. The low ceiling makes this seating feel more claustrophobic. There are picnic benches outside the amenity building. Before the 1990’s, when high street brands began opening at motorway services, this seating area would’ve served one large restaurant. Note: there is more customer seating here, but the rest was being used.
