A section of the customer seating available at Blackburn, primarily for customers of Greggs & Costa. Possibly due to low custom levels, there isn’t much actual seating. Maybe they haven’t changed this seating quantity since social distancing in 2020. This seating used to serve the LP4 before 2012 when it closed and Moto installed their two units. Since then, this seating hasn’t changed in 11 years. The interior of Blackburn is a very bizarre layout, with only small sections of seating set around the site where most services have a large seating area in one location. Despite the low usage, it still feels bright & clean. Overall, this customer seating remained quiet throughout my duration of my visit here. Blackburn’s interior has a lot of space to offer, but doesn’t actually need it. Aside from the 2012 change of brands, the interior of Blackburn hasn’t changed much since opening in 2002.
