Costa Drive Thru kiosk at Clacket Lane West, situated on entry from the M25 to the amenity building’s car park. The unit would’ve been placed here in 2016 when Roadchef rolled out Costa Drive Thru across their estate. It’s a good idea at Clacket Lane specifically as it’s an online site, situated next to the motorway, so it wouldn’t take motorists long to get a coffee from here without using the main facilities. The photo was taken from in my car (as a passenger) being the reason for the poor quality shot. It’s likely this Costa takes some trade away from the lounge inside the amenity building. This kiosk, like most Costa units, obtains no customer seating and is solely a takeaway/drive thru. This pic also evidences how Roadchef provide information whether the unit is open or closed, as you wouldn’t realise from a further distance or in the dark. This drive thru was moderately busy during my visit. Costa is signposted from the M25 as a drive thru to inform motorists of this facility.
