Costa Drive Thru kiosk at Rugby, set a relatively far distance away from the amenity building, nearer the junction & entrance to the site. This makes sense as motorists would find it easier not to travel through the site to get a drive thru coffee as at this point, they may as well go in Costa in the amenity building. Typical Costa Drive Thru this, a kiosk serving Costa products without customer seating. Costa drive Thrus are much more convenient to build then Starbucks Drive Thrus, as they typically look to add a lounge with seating, which makes for a much larger building. This drive thru prevents the building from filling up too quickly as customers don’t have to get Costa in the building, they can get a drive thru here, dividing trade. This can create traffic issues however. Prices at the drive thru are inflated like at the amenity building. The pic itself was taken from my car so apologies if it’s poor quality! Road markings around the drive thru make it clear which lane to get in for this and Moto have made it as simple as possible for customers wanting this facility. Some Costa Drive Thrus are confusing, especially at offline sites. Costa was empty during my visit, which seems odd as my visit was midday. Costa is signposted from both directions of the M6 as a drive thru so customers are informed of this facility.
