A Moto operated Costa Coffee outlet at Blackburn, situated between the entrance and McDonald’s. Costa opened here in 2012 having replaced most of the old LP4 restaurant. Costa provides a large seating area, which many non-customers make use of when the sites busier as additional seating here is limited. It hasn’t changed since 2012 and is due an upgrade. Costa’s expensive pricing will put some customers off and many use McD instead. The way Extra run their sites by subletting retail units out means they are inconsistent in which coffee chains they use, meaning some of their sites have Costa, such as here, and some have Starbucks. This is unlike any other operator. Costa was fairly quiet during my visit but understandably as the site is generally empty. Costa is signposted from the M65 and is made obvious around the site. This store lacks Costa sofas!
