Chozen Noodle offer at Clacket Lane Westbound, situated in a small unit beside Costa within the food court area. Would’ve opened around 2014 & is a brand new unit built next to Fresh Food Cafe, which replaced Hot Food Co. It lacks its own customer seating, so uses the customer seating opposite. Roadchef seem to use less high street brands than Moto or Welcome Break, as they largely rely on McDonalds. This means all their sites have other brands, such as Chozen Noodle, which have little existence away from Roadchef sites. These brands also loose trade from McD. Chozen Noodle here is pretty much unchanged since installation in 2014, when some other Roadchef’s have had theirs refurbished/turned into Garden Square Delis with a Chozen Noodle concession. During my visit, Chozen hadn’t opened for the day but generally, this unit remains fairly quiet away from holiday periods, when more motorists are using these facilities at Clacket Lane West. Chozen Noodle is not signposted from the M25, and isn’t advertised much around the site, so customers wouldn’t necessarily know it’s here, which is a contributing factor as to why Chozen is typically a quiet unit.
