Chopstix Noodle Bar stand at Blackburn with Darwen, situated in the food court section next to McDonald’s’ entrance. Opening in around 2014, Chopstix struggled getting customers at Blackburn as it’s smaller/less obvious than other brands here. This unit closed between March 2020 and Dec 2021. Chopstix definitely causes the whole of Blackburn services’ interior to smell of curry! Chopstix obtaining inconsistent pricing structures means that this Chopstix is considerably cheaper than most other sites at motorway services. Most Extra chopstix sites are setup in a similar way to this being small “stands” rather than full units like Welcome Break ones. Seating for chopstix is either a small communal seating area opposite or seating at Costa. Chopstix was moderately busy during my visit but still having some trade taken by the popular McDonalds. Chopstix is signposted around the site and from the M65.
