Burger King outlet at Michaelwood Southbound, situated next to KFC in the “food court” area. A small unit which would’ve opened here in 1996 when Granada acquired Welcome Break. BK was one of the first high street brands to make its way onto the motorway. BK is signposted from the M5 but remained fairly silent during my visit, especially in comparison to KFC. Burger King was refurbished here in 2017 and lacks any customer seating of its own. Customers are put off BK at motorway services as the franchisee set their prices far too high.
