Burger King outlet at Michaelwood Northbound, located in the food court area at the back of the building. It opened in around 1996 after Granada acquired Welcome Break. BK is the oldest food outlet here that has been trading for the longest. It was fairly busy, but quieter than other food units here. This could be the result of BK’s motorway franchisee setting their prices far too high. BK is signposted from the M5 as well as frequently around the building. BK is much more significant after 12pm. KFC opening here took some trade away from this unit. Burger King was refurbished here in around 2017 to include self-service screens.
